Real people. Real results.

Good Morning from South Bend, Indiana,

I don't know if Mr. Brecka will see this message, but the entire team should know the amazing work you are all doing.

I'm a 44  year old Orthodox Jewish male, married with 3 kids, several years ago, I was severely overweight, developed diabetes, in which my Dr basically just threw a pamphlet at me and said we should get you on medicine. I didn't take it seriously at all. It didn't seem too noteworthy and I just let it be.

I developed issues on my left foot which, after the course of 3 years, and 4 surgeries, had to rebuilding my ankle and foot.  During my recoveries, I started really soul searching and studying my body and how to make myself not sick and I found Gary Brecka.

Like most, I initially said he's just an online guy, interesting, but OK, but as I kept going down the rabbit hole, he kept popping up and his videos, podcasts, content, started becoming my guiding light into getting healthy.

My stats prior:

6--5, 340(around)
Glucose, fasting, 480ish
Pain everywhere
Ate everything in sight, preferably in drink form
Had trouble walking to synagogue on the Sabbath, which was 1/2 mile away
fell asleep EVERYWHERE
Super Brain fog

Now:

Still 6-5, 270
Resting glucose averages around 97ish
Still have pain, but localized to the damaged area in my leg (and hip due to my upgraded gait, but that's going away)
Intermittent Fasting daily from 8 or 9pm to 2 or 3pm next day
Only whole foods (if you're interested, I'll tell you the progression of diet)
Even with the ankle stuff, I am able to not only walk to synagogue, but can do it several times a day now without issue
Sleep normal hours, less than I want, but that's due to family, community, work things
Clear as day

Waiting for my current labs to come back. but all indications show that all my levels have gone down to normal ranges according to my Dr

In large part, Mr. Brecka has become the guy that saved my life, and I couldn't be more thankful. Hopefully sending a note like this, throughout all of the ridiculous hate he probably gets, will hopefully be a small part in keeping you all going.

Thank you all for your content, your help and support. My life is forever changed thanks to Your hard, and likely, mostly thankless work.
